Daphne is the founding member and current Chairperson of the Chinese Heritage Association of Australia and has provided a forum for Australians of Chinese ancestry to present their research into family histories. |

William Ho Yin Chan is recognised for the dedication, passion and selfless community service he provides across a wide variety of projects. William is long time supporter of World Vision and has continued to raise funds for the organisation since his school days and throughout his time at university. |
Community Relations Commission's Silver Medal of AppreciationMr Alex Ma
The Premier, Kristina Keneally with Alex Ma and Nancy Ma Mr. Alex Ma of 1A Communications has designed and supervised the production of the traditional trophies since the very first awards in 2005. The concept for the traditional Chinese trophies was researched and developed by Alex. He has also lent his design and communications expertise to assist with the staging of these awards and, in particular, for his production of the bilingual winners’ brochure describing the achievements of the four winners. Dr Leng Tan is recognised for her enormous efforts to improve the wellbeing of the Chinese community in NSW and beyond. For more than 40 years, Dr Tan has devoted her time and skills to help children, the elderly and people with disabilities. She is also committed to promoting understanding of Chinese culture in the wider Australian community.
Mrs. Clarie Lee is recognised for her continuous and tireless service to the Hills Chinese Women’s Association. Clarie has served on the Executive Management Committee for 17 years and as Chairperson for 10 years.
