Community Development Grants Program

Overview

The Community Relations Commission provides funding assistance to organisations through its Community Development Grants Program.  The program has been developed to support the objectives of the Commission as set out in the Community Relations Commission and Principles of Multiculturalism Act 2000.

There are two categories of funding under the Community Development Grants Program for community organisations:

General grants and

Sponsorship grants

The Commission is pleased to advise the introduction of a new direction in Sponsorship grant applications with the creation of an open advertisement system to make the Sponsorship grants more accessible. This will enable the Commission to better support the work of not-for-profit incorporated community organisations  to address the needs of our multicultural community.
